Faculty and Staff

The School of Dance in the ASU Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts has an impressive roster of celebrated dance professionals. Through work with artist scholars, musicians in dance, choreographers, technologists, educators, production designers, somatic specialists and acclaimed performers, students gain hands-on training in a wide variety of specializations.

Many dance classes are offered by authentic practitioners of a particular dance genre or style contributing to a diverse program of study.

Student growth is further enriched by guest artists and guest lecturers, who are in residence on campus to teach, choreograph, conduct research and mentor students throughout the year.

Production and academic support are offered by staff members with expertise gained from extensive work with major professional companies as well as universities.
