Materials to submit to the Department of Dance:

Statement of Intent regarding program of study at ASU (approximately 300 – 600 words in length)
Résumé
Videotape (VHS format Standard Play) or DVD of group work done within last 3 years and/or a portfolio of relevant work in a chosen area(s) of expertise
3 reference letters
Assistantship portfolio (Optional)

MMR Immunizations
You must have verification of two MMR (measles (rubeola)/ mumps/ rubella) immunizations on record at ASU, before you can register for classes.

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be on file with ASU

The FAFSA must be on file with ASU in order for you to be considered for any form of financial support, including assistantships, scholarships, and non-need based aid.

MFA Interviews Information
The MFA Interview for Fall 2008 Admission will be held Friday, January 25, 2008 on the campus of Arizona State University. Please check back for the exact schedule for the day.

TEACHING AND RESEARCH ASSISTANTSHIPS: A portfolio must be received prior to the graduate dance program interview for students to be considered for a teaching or research assistantship. Please call (480) 965-5029 to schedule a teaching assistantship interview. This interview is determined according to current class scheduling and is held as close to the regular interview date as possible.
