The Department of Dance Multimedia Learning Center (DMLC)
The Department of Dance Multimedia Learning Center provides support and training
for faculty and students working in the area of dance and new media technology.
Current courses support studies in dance and video, interactive and mediated
performance, distributed and remote performance and dance education technology.
The learning center is an Apple lab on high-speed network set up for video
and audio editing, interactive and telematic performance design and creation,
animation, multimedia performance development and instruction in dance education
technology. The DMLC works in tandem with the Dance Studio Theater, where
mediated performance projects are integrated into public performances.
The Learning Center is located in Physical Education East Room 121, just east of the ASU Bookstore, on the Arizona State University Tempe Campus.
