The Daniel Nagrin Memorial celebrates the life of modern dance legend
ASU Herberger College Dance hosts May 9 event

What
Join The Daniel Nagrin Theatre, Film and Dance Foundation May 9, for a celebration of the career of modern dance legend, author and choreographer Daniel Nagrin (1917–2008). The program is hosted by ASU Herberger College Dance and includes Nagrin’s solo dance videos, tributes from colleagues and live performances. Featured performers include: Roxane D'Orléans Juste, with the Jose Limon Dance Company; Elina Mooney, formerly of the Tamiris-Nagrin Dance Company and ASU Herberger College Dance; and David Barker formerly of the Claude Kipnis Mime Theatre and current professor in the ASU Herberger College School of Theatre and Film. A reception follows.

In addition, a Daniel Nagrin Digital Memory Book is being compiled. Please send thoughts, memories, stories, images or pictures about Nagrin either in the body of the e-mail, a Word document attachment or a .jpeg attachment. Submissions may be sent to Margie Wolf at mrwolf@mpsaz.org.
