Prospective Students

Welcome to Herberger Institute School of Dance at Arizona State University. When polled by Dance Teacher Magazine, dance programs of the leading universities and conservatories recognized our degrees for their excellence, ranking our graduate program fifth in the nation and fourth among public institutions. The undergraduate program is ranked ninth in the nation and seventh among public institutions.

Faculty, who are recognized nationally and internationally in their fields, guide you in preparation for future careers in higher education, the wellness industry, technology, and arts administration; at community colleges and high schools; and with private studios and professional dance companies, among others. In addition to many resources and opportunities on campus, an emphasis on participation in community partnerships and internships allows you to be part of the dynamic and cosmopolitan arts scene of metropolitan Phoenix.
