Undergraduate Prospective Students

Applying

Thank you for your interest in the School of Dance in the ASU Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts.

In order to major in dance, you must:

  1. Apply to ASU. You will be asked to indicate your intended major. Because entrance into the School of Dance is selective, you also will be asked to indicate your second choice major. If you pass your interview, the School of Dance will change your major to dance. In the event that you are admitted to ASU, but not selected for the School of Dance, you will be placed in the second major choice you selected at the time of application.
  2. Apply to and participate in one of our Interviews: Nov. 20 & 21, 2009 or Feb. 19 & 20, 2010.

Once you have been admitted to ASU as a dance major, you must schedule an orientation or advising appointment.
